The Temple of Heaven is located in Beijing, China. It is one of the largest and most representative existing masterpiece of China among other ancient sacrificial buildings. Temple of Heaven shows ancient philosophy, history and religion. It stands as the proud of cultural and architectural heritage of the country. The Temple of Heaven is larger than the Forbidden City.
The temple is enclosed by a long wall. The northern part of wall is symbolizing the Heavens and the southern part which is square represents the Earth. The northern part is higher than the southern part.
