Here is a list of the National Parks in Kerala, South India. The list consists of the seven national parks in Kerala of which majority of them are located in Idukki and Palakkad districts in Kerala.

List of Major Kerala National Park
Periyar National Park
Nestled in the ranges of Western Ghats, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is located in Idukki, Kerala. The total area is 777 Sq. Km. and the wildlife sanctuary consist a lake which serves water to the local wildlife throughout the year. With significant number of tigers, this wildlife park comes under ‘Project Tiger’. Along with thick forest area and huge grasslands, the major wildlife attractions in Periyar National Park include gaur, sambar, barking deer, mouse deer, wild pigs, Indian wild dog, lion-tailed macaque, bonnet macaque, nilgiri langur and common langur.
Anamudi Shola National Park
Anamudi Shola National Park is located along the Western Ghats in Idukki District of Kerala. Administered by the Kerala Department of Forests and Wildlife, Munnar Wildlife Division, the Anamudi Shola National Park covers a total area of around 7.5 km² and comprises the Mannavanchola (Mannavan Shola or the Evergreen rain forest), Idivara Shola Reserve and Pullardi Shola Reserve. This protected National park is a very high rainfall area. Anamudi Shola National Park forms part of the Anamalai Sub-Cluster which was recently nominated for consideration as a World Heritage Site status under UNESCO's World Heritage Committee.
Silent Valley National Park
The Silent Valley National Park is located in Palakkad district, Kerala. Rich in biodiversity, the tropical evergreen forest extends to an area of 90 sq km. Being the core area in Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, it is a tropical rain forest region. The park is well known for the unique and rare plants and herbs. Silent Valley National Park is home to wide variety of animals including lion-tailed macaque, tigers, leopards, Bonnet Macaque, ruddy mongoose, Malabar squirrel, stripe-necked mongoose, otter, spotted and barking deer, wild boar and rare birds. Another attraction is river Kunthi - the perennial river with crystal clear water, which descends from Nilgiri Hills.
Eravikulam National Park
Established to protect the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, Eravikulam National Park is situated in the high ranges of southern Western Ghats, Idukki, Kerala. This 97 sq. km. national park comprises large variety of flora and fauna with rolling grasslands and high level sholas. Besides viable population of Nilgiri Tahr, the park consists other fauna including Nilgiri marten, small clawed otter, ruddy mongoose, dusky striped squirrel, Elephants and so on. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India is situated south of the park.
Mathikettan Shola National Park
Mathikettan Shola National Park, which extends to about 1282 hectares, is located at Poopara village, Idukki, Kerala. The park is established to protect the wildlife and rich biodiversity of the area. The shola forest covers ecological, floral, faunal and geomorphological wealth of the area. Mathikettan Shola National Park is well-known as it is a corridor for elephants.
Pampadum Shola National Park
The smallest national park in Kerala, Pampadum Shola National Park is located at Marayoor village, Idukki. The park extends to an area of 11.753 Sq. Km and offers rare biodiversity with a wide range of habitat types. The fauna includes endemic and rare species and many other animals including elephant, leopard, gaur, wild boar and common langur.
Karimpuzha National Park
Karimpuzha National Park is a proposed national park located at Nilgiri Hills, Palakkad.
