How to prepare for exams in short Time


Exam preparations will vary pertaining to various kinds of examinations. The final year exams require long-term preparation, while your month tests may require preparation of a few weeks. When the exams are just round the corner and you don’t have enough time to prepare, cramming is the best option. The pressure is on and success depends on how well you are able to prepare.

Exam preparation tips in a Short time:

1. Get yourself a fully relaxed mind. Choose a place where there is peace and no noise or disturbances etc. Do not study on the bed, sit straight on a chair instead. You have to make yourself comfy so that you can concentrate on your study.

2. Before you start your study, create a timetable for yourself. Calculate the number of hours you will have available to study. Difficult topics are often provided with more time, and fewer difficult topics will be allocated lesser time and you will have to give yourself some time for entertainment also.

3. Gather your study material. Study the topic first by quickly going through the whole text. Now you have the main idea of the topic or the subject. As you can’t study everything, so make key notes, points, keywords.

4. After going through the topic well, prepare a brief summary of the whole chapter/topic. Make it in a way that all the contents are in the shape of points.

5. Learning new material will be the toughest task in a short time. Take the topics list and if possible review your course materials to try to gain an idea over which topics might be tested on.

6. Employ study techniques such as repetition, flash cards and mnemonics. For repetition, sit with your notebook and write over and over what you need to know. Draw flash cards with info on them and go over them constantly.

7. On the night prior to the actual exam, you need to get an enough rest, a minimum of six hours and not exceeding eight hours. Keep in mind this can have a fantastic impact on your examination. And also do not fast on exam time. This can have bad effect, so eat properly.
