Justice Fathima Beevi First Woman Judge Supreme Court of India

Justice Fathima Beevi is the first women judge to be selected as the Supreme Court of India. Justice M. Fathima Beevi was born in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. She was appointed as the first Woman Supreme Court Judge of India in 1989. Fathima Beevi took her Bachelor of Law from Government Law College, Trivandrum. She also served the position of Governor in Tamil Nadu from 1997 – 2001.
