Chanakya Neeti Written By Kautilya

Chanakya Neeti is one of the important works of Kautilya. Populaly known as Chanakya and Vishnugupta, Kautilya was an eminent personality of ancient India. He was the chief advisor and teacher of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya of the Mauryan dynasty. Kautilya also served as the royal advisor of Bindusara, the son of Chandragupta.

Arthashastra is another famous work by Chanakya. Arthashastra is compared to "The Prince" of Machiavelli. The Prince is a famous political treatise written by the Italian diplomat Niccolo Machiavelli.
