Tata Indigo Marina

When Tata decided to launch station wagon version of their popular model Indica, they named it Tata Indigo Marina. The car is the perfect blend of the luxury of sedan and the spaciousness of an MUV. Delivering excellent performance, it has been received by car enthusiasts with enthusiasm.

Design and Interior
Designers have worked hard to add style to Tata Indigo Marina. Some striking features of Indica are roof rails, chrome plated front grille, rub rails on doors, tinted door glasses, full wheel covers, sparkling taillights, clear lens headlamps and body-colored bumper. The car has roomy interiors and four people can sit comfortably in it. Small storage spaces are made available at strategic locations.

The car is also equipped with luggage retention net, rear seat with double folding facility, retractable luggage cover, and trunk lamp. Leather wrapped gearshift knob and a sporty steering wheel add more impression to the car. The vehicle offers 670 litres of integrated luggage space, accessible from within by folding the retractable parcel shelf or just stowing it away

Variants and Price
Tata Indigo Marina has two petrol variants GLS and GLX, while the diesel-driven Marina comes in two models - LS and LX. Indigo Marina LX DICOR is the new joinee. The variants are priced between Rs. 4.60 and 5.60 lakhs.

Engine
1405 cc MPFI Petrol Engine which comes with 16-bit microprocessor, produces a power of 85 PS @ 6000 rpm and torque of 11 kgm @ 3000 rpm.

Diesel variant has a Turbo Charged 1405 cc Indirect Injection Engine with Intercooler, churning out a power of 70 PS @ 4500 rpm and maximum torque of 13.5 kgm @ 2500 rpm.

Safety
Standard safety features have been used in Indigo including anti-submarine type front seats, child safety locks on rear doors, collapsible steering column, headlamp leveling device, rear spoiler with integrated brake light, seat belts and side impact beams.
