Singing reality show ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar’

The biggest musical extravaganza, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar ‘is back with the second season yet again and is scheduled to air every Sat and Sun at 9 PM from 31st March.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar is very different and challenging from other singing reality shows. The competition is in between the winners and the runners of various popular singing reality shows like Indian Idol, Saregamapa, Chhote Ustaad, etc. The show features 18 contestants in which 6 are Champions (Winners) and 12 are Challengers (Runners). The show is one of its kind in which contestants explore a new spectrum of music through fusion, cross-cultural exchange of music and renditions of classical songs.

Two renowned judges – Shaan, the play back singer and who has been hosting different music reality shows since many years has turned out to be a judge this time, will be mentoring the Champions and Shantanu Moitra , the music composer for various films like Parineeta, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots,etc.,will be mentoring the Challengers . Adding to this jury will be renowned Bollywood lyricist and singer, Swanand Kirkire. Mandira Bedi who has hosted the first season will continue in this season too.

Show format- Champions will be performing on Saturday and the least scorers will cross over too Challengers team & Challengers will be performing on Sunday and the least scorer of the day will be eliminated and the top two scorers will get a chance to appeal public voting and one will get a chance to cross over to Champions team.
