State Bank of India recently introduced SMS banking facility to its customers.All the SBI customers can avail this facility by sending an SMS as MBSREG to 09223440000.
After sending SMS user will get UserID and MPIN. After this step we have to go to the SBI ATM to confirm the registration and linking our ATM card.

You have to send all the messages to the number 09223440000. For sending SMS only standard National SMS charges apply because the number is a normal mobile number based in Maharashtra. So Maharashtra customers will enjoy local SMS charges.
You can even recharge your mobile by this SMS facility by sending an SMS as
<STOPUP> <UserId> <Mpin> <telecom operator of beneficiary Mobile> <Mob no of beneficiary > <Amount> to 09223440000
For DTH recharge SMS as
<SDTH> <UserId> <Mpin> <Service Provider> <DTH serial number <amount> to 09223440000
For Mobile transfer of funds from one account to another SMS as
<IMPS> <Mobile No> <MMID> <amount> <User ID> <MPIN><Purpose(optional field- up to 20 char-Alphanumeric)> to 09223440000
Remember all the keywords are not case sensitive, that means you can type either capital letters or small letters.
