Call it a land of snake charmers or the next economic superpower, India is unique in many aspects. Slums alongside malls, co-existence of Ambanis and Middle Class and Poor, and unity amidst the most widened diversity are some of the examples what makes India different from other nations. These contrasts and coexistence make me to feel proud as an Indian. Three major reasons for which I love my India are
Incredible natural beauty of India
Someone has rightly said every stone of India is a piece of art and has a unique story to tell. Be it the Snow-clad Himalayas, vast patches of dense forest, sandy beaches or the tremendous biodiversity, all of them make India an abode of natural beauty. In the northern parts, beauty of the hill stations and national parks will make you spell bound. Beauty of back water, coconut trees and endless greenery are the irresistible attractions that Southern part of India possesses. North-east is a typical blend of natural beauty and quiet atmosphere. If there is a heaven on Earth, it is definitely in India, the master piece of natural beauty.
Hospitality and culture of India
By nature, Indians are hospitable and simple. “Atithi Devo Bhaba” (guest is God) is the principle in which Indian believe. This hospitability had given several chances to betrayers and traitors to invade and plunder the wealth of India. Still, India and Indians have not changed their hospitality to others. 10,000 years culture of India has given several noteworthy aspects to the global community. Most vital of them are realizing them the power of truth and non-violence.
Economic renaissance
In the year 1991, India opened its economic door to the entire world. Though, opposed by many skeptics in the initial phases, liberalization and globalization led India towards becoming an emerging economic super power. Now, India itself is a brand and “made in India” tag has significant number of target customers in world market.
